Digging underway on Adams Street

Jonathan Delozier | Wellington Enterprise

Work has commenced on a complete street, sewer, and waterline overhaul of Adams Street. The project, originally projected to cost $1.3 million, is on track to total around $860,000 and be completed in October. Low-interest loans from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, a combination of grants and loans from the Ohio Public Works Commission, and tax assessments from Adams Street homeowners are paying for the revamp.
