Two Wellington students came home winners from the National Competitions of Family Career & Community Leaders of America held recently in Washington, D.C.

Brittany Miller was awarded gold in Chapter Review Portfolio and Grace Struhar took gold in Chapter Service Project Portfolio.

FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical organization for students in family and consumer sciences education in public and private school through grade 12.

Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns, including teen pregnancy, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, environment, nutrition and fitness, teen violence, and career exploration.
