• Sept. 30 at 1:40 p.m.: A 25-year-old Wellington man was found bleeding heavily from his mouth inside a garage on Wenner Street. Police had responded to a report of a wounded man, possibly with a weapon (there was no weapon). The victim said he had been beaten on East 185th Street in Cleveland by persons unknown. He also said Mafia members could be responsible for his injuries, then became quiet and wouldn’t speak more about the incident. EMS took the man to Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin for treatment.

• Oct. 2 at 2:20 a.m.: Police received a complaint of a gray Ford Focus with several female occupants driving past an Elm Street residents and harassing the people who live there. Gabrielle Edwards, 18, of Wellington, was charged with display of license plates, contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child, and curfew violation.

• Oct. 5 at 7:59 a.m.: Gasoline was reported stolen from an ATT work van.
