Seven teachers who were laid off in March amid sweeping Wellington Schools cuts will return when the fall semester begins next Wednesday.
Pink slips were given to 35 staffers as the board of education struggled this winter and spring with the threat of a $2.4 million deficit.
Seven teachers who were originally pink slipped received call backs but declined the offer. Seven others were given new teaching assignments despite some previously being cut back to half-time. Six staff members resigned.
The asterisk indicates which teachers were originally pink slipped either half-time or entirely.
