Douglass doppelganger speaks at WHS

Michael Crutcher Sr. delivered a stirring portrayal of Frederick Douglass on May 22 at the Patricia Lindley Center for the Performing Arts. Crutcher spoke to Wellington High School students after performing for a public audience the previous evening. The real Douglass delivered a public address to Wellington residents on behalf of the National Equal Rights League in 1868.
