Bag Lady Tour is two weekends in April

It is spring so it must be time for the 2009 spring original Bag Lady Tour.

This drive-yourself tour winds along country roads and enables participants to shop along the way. This spring's tour will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 17, 18 and 19, and April 24, 25 and 26. Participants can pick up a flyer and bag at any of the shops in Wellington, Homerville, Rochester, Huntington, Penfield, Spencer or West Salem. They will get a free gift for the bag at each stop along the way. Friday and Saturday tour hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m.

Shoppers can get the flyer stamped at each location. Those with all the stamps from every location can enter the flyer to a grand prize drawing.

Incomplete flyers qualify for a consolation prize drawing. Children will be given their own flyer. Adults should help them get a stamp from each shop, clearly write their name, address and phone number on the attached entry form and turn it in to be entered in the children's prize drawing for a special gift certificate the winner may use at any one Country Tour shop of their choice.

The many shops along the way have something for everyone including antiques, collectibles, toys, herbs, tea, fiber art, coffee, honey and elk.
