Herrick Happenings
We don't mean to bug you, we just want to remind you to catch the spring storytime reading bug in the community room of Herrick Memorial Library. To register or for additional information contact the library at 647-2120.
* Early explorers preschool story hour: Storytime will begin Wednesday, April 1 and run until Wednesday, May 6. Sessions to be chosen from include Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. or Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Children ages four, five and six will learn about feathered friends, things that hop, caterpillar capers, spring things, creepy crawly and bee my honey. Registration in person is required and space is limited.
* Bees to trees, totally two and three year olds: Storytime will begin Monday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. and run until Monday, May 4. Two and three-year-old children along with their caregiver will enjoy stories, songs and fingerplay. They will also learn about feathered friends, things that hop, caterpillar capers, spring things, creepy crawly and bee my honey. Stop in to register and pick up a reading packet. Remember to watch where you sit and be careful before taking a step or you may be harming a friend.
* Baby steps with Mother Goose: Storytime will begin Tuesday, March 31 and run until Tuesday, May 5 with one session at 10 a.m. Infants up to 24 months will explore finger play, lap sit with rhymes, stories and more. Pre-registration in person is required and space is limited to a class size of 12.
