Miss Natasha Marie Fox and John "Cody" Abrams of Starkville, Miss., were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2009. The ceremony took place outside under a beautiful lighted canopy at Elyria Country Club with Pastor Chris Reutepohler officiating a heartfelt ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and LouAnn Fox of LaGrange, and the granddaughter of Mary and Harold Greathouse of Zellwood, Fla., and Margie and Jim Fox, of Wellington.

The groom is the son of Jena Thompson Abrams of Meridian, Miss., and John Abrams of Crawford, Miss., and the grandson of Thelma Thompson of Meridian, Miss., and the late Johnnie and George Abrams of Macon, Miss.

Maid of honor was Felicia Fair. The following bridal party are all cousins of the bride: bridesmaids Simone Cole and Brianna Foster; and flower girls, Hailey Fox and Danielle Fox. Ringbearers were Zacheriah Foster and Zeus, their dog.

Father of the groom, John Cody served as best man. Groomsmen are brothers of the bride, Jordan Fox, Eric Fox and Nicholas Fox.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Jerrica Frye singing "Somebody," Bill and Devon Turton sang songs while playing their guitars. Brandon Stone provided instrumental music with the sound of soothing rain on the canopy. Devon wrote and then sang "My Promise" during the pouring of sand into vases by the parents and the newlyweds.

A reception was held at the Penfield Hall with a family/friends theme. All food and fruit preparation, DJ, photographers/videographers, decorations, etc. were done by family and friends. The cake was made by Eric Fox, grandparents, Mary and Harold and decorated by mom, LouAnn. A special night of happy tears, laughter and dancing was enjoyed by all. A southern outside reception will be held in October by Cody's aunt and uncle, Cindy and Dennis Aucoin.

The couple enjoyed a scenic honeymoon in a private cabin overlooking the mountains in Gatlinburg, Tenn. They will reside in Starkville, Miss.
