Carolyn Grace Telenko

Carolyn Grace Telenko, 69, of Wellington, died suddenly Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at her home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1940 in Elyria. Mrs. Telenko graduated from Elyria High in 1958 and served as treasurer of the '58 reunion committee and attended all reunions. She worked as an Avon lady for 32 years serving customers in Southern Lorain County. She was a member of the Wellington Eagles Auxiliary #2051 raising funds for activities. Mrs. Telenko enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and knitting; she donated 76 hats to the Chronicle Telegram "Not Forgotten Box."

Mrs. Telenko is survived by her husband Richard J. Telenko of Wellington; sons Timothy Deshuk of Lorain and Douglas Deshuk of Dublin, Ohio; daughter, Cynthia Pritt of Wellington; seven grandchildren; brothers, Gary O'Connor of Tempe, Ariz. and David O'Connor of Elyria; and sister Molly Kelly of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph E. and Alma A. Ackerman O'Connor, and a son, Donald Deshuk.

There will be a private burial at Camden Township Cemetery at a later date. Cowling Funeral Home, Inc. is handling local arrangements.
