Herrick Happenings for Jan. 26

* Lego-Mania: Will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your own team, four to five members, and create a Lego masterpiece using Legos that the library will supply. All ages are invited, so bring dad, grandpa, mom or friends to enjoy some creative, constructive fun. Stop by the library after the program to see all of the finished projects on display in the children's department. To register or for additional information contact the library at 647-2120. Registration is required.

* Babysitting Basics Class: The American Red Cross the Herrick Memorial Library are pleased to announce this class held on Sat. Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 13 from noon to 3 p.m. in the library. Babysitters age 11 to 15-years-old will learn ideas for child and infant care, first aid, breathing emergencies, employment strategies, age appropriate fun and games and much more. Cost is $40 and includes textbook, CD and first aid kit. Participants are encouraged to bring a small snack. All students must be pre-registered.
