GIRLS SOCCER: PAC champs ready to take on foes

Alaine Bremke, Faith Alley, Emma Horoschak, and Victoria Horoschak posted goals Saturday to lift Wellington 4-1 over Brookside. The victory clinches the Dukes a share of the 2017 Patriot Athletic Conference championship. Keeper Makaylin Moore had eight saves in goal, giving the Wellington offense peace of mind. The girls play at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at home against the winner of Brooklyn vs. Trinity. The Dukes are second-seeded in the district.
