Sam Sparks had a lonely goal last Wednesday but Buckeye had more to celebrate in their 4-1 win.

The Bucks’ Sophia Barnes found the back of the net twice in cold, rainy varsity soccer action. Natalie Bartlett and Katelyn Petrovich each scored once.

Keeper Makaylin Moore registered 12 saves for the Dukes girls. Buckeye’s Julianne Finley stopped six shots and Emily Casteel blocked two during her time in the box.
