Dukes runners hit the track in style

The Lady Dukes took home sixth place in the 4×800 meter relay with a time of 11:56 and second place in the 4×200 meter relay. The girls fell 12 seconds short of beating Brooklyn for first place. A time of one minute earned Wellington’s girls 4×100 meter relay a third place finish.

Mackenzie Calfo finished with a time of 2:36 in the 800 meters for first place and Meredith Meyers took home fourth place in the preliminary race.

Wellington’s William Dowdell earned eighth place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:45 and Gage Conrad took 11th place. Dowdell defeated Fairview’s Conor Kilbane across the finish line for third place in the 3,200 meters.

The Dukes boys 4×100 meter relay team earned second place with a time of 48.79.

The Black River Pirates boys and girls track teams took home seventh place last Thursday in the Patriot Athletic Conference Championship meet.
