After surrendering 20 points in a very shaky first quarter, the Dukes varsity boys rebounded to a two-point playoff win Tuesday night over Rittman. They netted Wellington High School’s first-ever home tournament win with a 51-49 victory. Max Joppeck, Josh Kindel, Trevor Porter, Grant Kidd, and Ryan Whitaker turned the tempo around in the second quarter and the Dukes trailed by just one at the half, capitalizing on a seven-point run. Trey Bealer had a team high 15 points and Colton Schmidt logged 12.
