WRESTLING: Dukes take fourth place, Pirates ninth at PAC meet

Wellington took fourth place overall Saturday at the Patriot Athletic Conference championship tournament and Black River finished ninth. Mason Wright took home first place for the Dukes in the 138-pound weight class, which made him a two-time champion. Wellington’s Hayden Bartolovich also won a PAC title at 152 pounds for the first time of his career.

The Dukes also had Andrew Cantu place fourth in his class, Dauson Hammer fourth, Tyler Wilfong third, Nick Fox third, and Steve Ferguson second. Black River’s Jacob Campell took home second place at 195 pounds, Dalton Abfall finished third at 126, and DP Shranko took third in the 285 weight class.
