Grateful and ecstatic for the turnout

To the editor:

The first Business to Business Mixer was a success with 24 people attending on October 17. The success was due mostly by our host, Steve Neff, owner of Wellington Music, who wholeheartedly believes in collaborating with other local businesses. The goals of the B2B Mixers are to improve relationships between business owners/managers and building owners, increase the level of knowledge of what our community has to offer, foster collaborative marketing and referrals, celebrate our successes, and brainstorm ways to improve.

I am thankful that Steve is very vocal in supporting local businesses and active on the Main Street Wellington Business Enhancement Committee. I would also like to thank the following people who assisted with the event: Jason Keith (Colonial Barber), Stacey Barlow (Fort’s Tavern), Chris Goran (Special Effects Printing), and Amy Szmania (Lorain County Community College). Chief Tim Barfield also stopped by to share the many services the Wellington police department can offer businesses. I also appreciate Wellington Enterprise for promoting this event!

Please save the date for the next B2B Mixer on Monday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Inner Circle Personal Fitness. If you’d like more information or to get on our mailing list, please call 440-647-3987 or jarntz@mainstreetwellington.com.

Together we are stronger and will help Wellington thrive!
