Eighteen Future Farmers of America chapter members were awarded Greenhand Degrees recently at Wellington High School.

President Bailey Wise led the chapter in the opening ceremony, followed by the Greenhand ceremony where winners were presented with degrees, pins, and certificates. Treasurer Miranda McDonnell presented the FFA Creed.

Jessika Fye and Kalyn Wise of the Wellington FFA Alumni Association presented a slide show highlighting how the group supports Wellington FFA students and encouraged others to join alumni efforts.

Following the ceremony, Greenhands dipped their hands in green paint and placed their handprints on a banner that will be displayed at the school.

Refreshments were served by the Wellington FFA alumni and chapter members.
