The Wellington Eagles’ parking lot was full Saturday afternoon for the Herrick Memorial Library’s Touch-A-Truck event. Its purpose was to show children the trucks and some of the equipment local heroes use daily. Some of the vehicles exhibited were a school bus, an ambulance, a fire engine, a police cruiser, a LifeFlight helicopter, and the Lorain County Bomb Squad. Wellington firefighters donated 300 bike helmets to children who attended.
