Children flocked to the Herrick Memorial Library on June 15 to take part in “Building a Better World,” which is a national library initiative to encourage kids to have fun using science, technology, engineering, and math. A LEGO challenge was set up where kids formed groups and constructed towers, monsters, a police station, and other structures of their choosing.
