Now that this year’s class of Black River Pirates have earned their diplomas, we asked a few seniors what they learned as students, what they’ll miss about high school, and what their plans are for the coming years.
“I’m going to miss seeing everyone I know every day. I’ll be going to Shawnee State University this fall for athletic training, physical therapy assisting, as well as playing baseball. I played baseball all four years in high school.”
“I’ll miss friends and all my teachers. Next year I’ll be going to Bowling Green State University to study criminal justice. I’d like to work toward becoming a detective or something similar.”
“I’m going to Bowling Green to study inclusive early childhood education. I’ll miss everything about Black River, the community, and everyone getting together for events.”
