A New London woman died as a result of a two-car crash Sunday in Rochester Township.

Judy Pullin, 69, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

Pullin was traveling west on state Rt. 162 when she failed to yield for a stop sign and collided with a Ford F-150 that was heading southbound on state Rt. 511, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

There were no passengers in the Pontiac Vibe she was driving and it is unknown whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash, which occurred at 6:42 p.m.

Karen Seanor, 74, of Louisville, Ohio, was a passenger in the rear seat of the F-150. She was taken by helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland with what troopers called “incapacitating injuries.” It’s unknown whether she was wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the pickup truck, Jeffrey Seanor, 68, and the front seat passenger, Laura Nelson, 51, both of Louisville, were taken by ambulance to Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, also with incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
