Cayla Williams, Gabriella Sterling, and Isabella Castro are among the first-year cosmetology students at the Lorain County JVS who competed in a creative styling contest. They were given styrofoam heads and asked to create a stylish design using any materials they wanted except for real hair. Their creations were judged by fellow students. Williams took first place for “The Sea Goddess.” Sterling took second for “Swamp Beauty.” And Castro took third for “Medusa.” The designs are on display in a showcase at the school for all to enjoy.
