The car was packed with kids and parents, but no one was injured in a single vehicle crash in Penfield township on Feb. 15.

Megan Smith, 30, of Lorain, was driving a 2000 Toyota Camry southwest on Indian Hollow Road just east of Rt. 301 when she went off the left side of the curved roadway and hit a tree.

Wellington firefighters and South Lorain County Ambulance District EMTs arrived on the scene shortly after 3:51 p.m.

Smith and passenger Courtney Spears, 27, of Lorain, were not injured and neither were two infants and four- and five-year-olds.

Smith was cited for driving outside of marked lanes, said Sgt. Pablo Cruz of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Elyria Post.
