More than 1,000 visitors filled the hallways of the Lorain County Joint Vocational School Wednesday and Thursday for a sophomore visitation day. Students from 10 school districts in the county including Amherst, Firelands, Oberlin, and Wellington attended the vocational school to see labs, participate in demonstrations, and talk with current students about specific programs.

High school students at the JVS also enjoyed the two days participating in a fashion show, playing the game “Minute to Win It,” learning tactical physical defense moves, practicing for job interviews, and learning the secrets to great grilling.
