The Wellington board of education is under new leadership. Sally Stewart was chosen Tuesday to serve as president, guiding the five-member board in 2016. Ayers Ratliffe was elected as vice president.

The elections took place at the school board’s annual organizational meeting, which preceded the regular monthly board meeting.

New board members Daniel Rosecrans and Kevin Stump were sworn in at the start of the organizational meeting. Rosecrans and Stump replace board members Joe Calfo, who was president, and Jacquie Dovin.
