Fall festivities are underway at Findley State Park, where a fall campout was held this past weekend. The fun started Friday with popcorn and a movie in the amphitheater. On Saturday afternoon, children of all ages picked pumpkins to carve and decorate. Other Saturday activities included fishing, a horseshoe tournament, hay rides, a leaf hike, and trick-or-treating. Park manager Bridget Derrick said a Halloween campout, which is this weekend, became so popular that the park staff started having the fall campout the weekend before. Derrick said some families attend the fall campout just to make sure their spot is reserved for the following weekend.
