Don't wait for Mother's Day

To the editor:

My name is Jennifer and I have been a resident of Wellington my whole life. I am 23 years old and I wanted to write to you about a very important person in my life. Her name is Cindy. She plays an important role to me. See, without Cindy in my life I don't know where I would be at today. She has helped me succeed in so many ways and without her I don't know if I would even be alive.

Cindy's birthday is on Sunday, June 24, 2010 and I didn't know what to do for her birthday so I thought I would write to you to tell you how very much she means to me. Cindy always thinks of people before herself and if you don't know her you would wish you did. She is a very helpful, thoughtful, caring and honest person and she tells you what she thinks whether it be good or bad. I personally look up to her because she is a wonderful person to be around.

If you haven't figured out who Cindy is to me, she is my mom, and she is the best mom ever.

If I could tell my mom one thing, it would be how much she is appreciated. I may not know how to show it most days but I still appreciate her.

Happy birthday mom. I love you.
