Sheffield's celebrate 60th anniversary

Paul and Wonda (Terry) Sheffield of Brighton, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 2, 2009. The couple met at a rodeo on Pitts Road in 1948. They were married July 2, 1949 in Greenup, Ky.

Mr. Sheffield is retired and enjoys golfing, garden and yard work. Mrs. Sheffield is also retired and enjoys being with her family and traveling.

They have four children, Mansa Skinner, Paula Terry and Debbie Haben, all of Wellington and Bob Sheffield of Celina, Ohio. They have nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Sheffield are members of the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church.

On Saturday, Aug. 1 an open house will be held at the fellowship hall of the Freewill Baptist Church at 205 Woodland St. in Wellington from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come and enjoy the couple in this celebration; no gifts are requested.
